Aaron Judge is a strong man. Aaron Judge can also hit the baseball very hard and very far. That’s a perfect recipe for a lot of dingers, with Judge leading the league with 29.

Judge provided some early fireworks on the Fourth of July with his 28th long ball of the year that he smoked 118 miles-per-hour and went 456 feet. Oh yeah and that ball also dented a metal gate somewhere past the wall in left center field.

Judge has done some incredible things in his short time in the majors, including hitting a ball 495 feet, and hitting another one over 120 miles per hour. But this one ranks among the most impressive. He dented a piece of metal over 450 feet away.

To hit a baseball that hard and have it travel that far, and have that baseball still be traveling at a ridiculous speed to dent metal is crazy. Judge jokingly said that he is still waiting for a bill from the Yankees for the damage he caused, including a TV in the Yankees restaurant during a BP session earlier in the year.

Judge will be participating in the Home Run derby on Monday, July 10 in Marlins Park in Miami. With a lot of objects to hit, including the stature in left center field, hopefully Judge can break some more things, and possibly knock that statue down.
